Choose the correct mode to maximise battery life:

  • SMF (Calcium): For sealed maintenance-free calcium batteries

  • AGM / Flooded: For AGM and conventional wet-cell batteries

  • GEL: For gel electrolyte batteries

⚡ Charge Rate Options

Selecting the right charge rate prevents overheating and damage to internal plates.

Mode Output Best For
1A – Maintenance Mode 3–20Ah (maintains up to 100Ah) Storage, small batteries, maintenance top-ups
3A – Silent Charge Mode 9–60Ah (maintains up to 110Ah) Motorcycles, powersports, lawn equipment
6A – Rapid Charge Mode 18–120Ah (maintains up to 180Ah) Cars, 4x4s, marine, deep cycle batteries

Note: The internal cooling fan may activate in 6A rapid mode.

📏 Recommended Charging Guide

  • Flooded Lead-Acid: ~10% of Ah rating

  • AGM & Gel: Up to 20% of Ah rating

Example:

  • 100Ah Flooded Battery → ~10A ideal

  • 100Ah AGM Battery → up to 20A acceptable
